The University of Salamanca shoulders the responsibility of promoting Spanish language education, one of Spain’s eight national missions. The University of Salamanca offers Spanish language and culture courses at all levels, enabling students to master the language to the level and requirements of university students.
The University of Salamanca is officially approved by the Spanish government and is responsible for developing and revising the DELE (Degree of Spanish Language Proficiency) exams, including the Initial Certificate of English (CIE), the Diploma in Spanish (DBE), and the Diploma in Spanish (DSE). The University of Salamanca’s various Spanish language courses are intensive language courses designed specifically for international students, focusing on the Spanish language and culture. These courses are taught by experienced language and literature faculty. After one year of Spanish study, students will master the basics of the language, laying a solid foundation for their university studies.
